ARTISAN VENDOR SUBMISSIONS

Peterborough Folk Festival is pleased to offer a fun and welcoming marketplace for local artisans and craft makers to showcase their hand-made wares.

Artisan vendor submissions for Peterborough Folk Festival 2025 will open in April 2025.

Booths will be available to accepted artisan vendors on Saturday, August 16 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm, and Sunday, August 17 from 12:00 noon until 6:15 pm. Please note that the application is for the full weekend only. Setup is strictly between 9:00 am and 11:30 am each day.

Jurying: Peterborough Folk Festival’s Artisan Village is a juried event. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. Applications are reviewed by the festival’s Arts and Crafts Team. All items offered for sale must be handmade by the artisan; items such as printed T-shirts will not be accepted. Vendors will be selected based on the completeness of their application, the fit of artisan products to the festival, the quality of work and the type of merchandise to be sold. Priority will be given to local vendors located in Peterborough and the Kawarthas, including Hiawatha, Curve Lake and Alderville First Nations. We make an effort to present a varied selection of items in the Artisan Village and vendors may not be accepted if a particular category of merchandise is over-represented. In the event that your application is not accepted, your fees will be refunded.

There will be 2 rounds of jurying:

  1. Early bird deadline: June 15, 2025. Early bird applicants will be notified by June 30.

  2. Regular deadline: July 31, 2025 (subject to space availability).

Additional applications may be considered until August 6, 2025, subject to availability.

Fees for Artisan Vendors

  1. Early bird: Before June 15 - FULL WEEKEND: $175.

  2. Regular: Before July 31 - FULL WEEKEND: $200.

Indigenous artisans are invited to send an email to artisan@peterboroughfolkfest.com to inquire about reduced rates.
